General Manager Biography

Amberlyn Heiney

Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ (CMR) culture and philosophy has taught Amberlyn Heiney a great deal about being a stronger leader and an overall better person. With nearly two decades of experience working in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Heiney continues to feel excited and passionate about her work.

Before joining the CMR family in 2007, she worked in many Columbus establishments – from pubs to fine dining restaurants – in a variety of roles, including server, bartender and assistant general manager. She has gained experience from CMR concepts like The Guild House, where she served as the general manager when the restaurant opened in 2015. Heiney currently serves as the general manager at The Pearl.

Working in the hospitality industry came naturally to Heiney and she enjoys the ever-changing and evolving environment. Her advice to those interested in working in the industry is to stay flexible and to “not be afraid of making a mistake - some of the best lessons come from them.”

Heiney holds a Bachelor’s degree in history of art from The Ohio State University. She resides in Columbus. Outside of work enjoys spending time with her friends and family, working out at the gym, and trying new food experiences every chance she gets.
